Methyldrostanolone, commonly referred to as Superdrol, is considered one of the most powerful oral anabolic steroids available in the past decade. Similar to Masteron, the primary distinction is that Masteron does not contain an ester chain. The name Superdrol is derived from a blend of the words “super” and “anadrol.” Superdrol is an excellent option for bulking, although some bodybuilders incorporate it into cutting cycles due to its ability to produce lean and hard gains without causing bloating or water retention. Developed in the 1950s by researchers aiming to create a drug for tumor destruction, the drug did not meet that goal but was found to significantly enhance lean muscle mass and strength. However, Superdrol was not made available until 2005.

The active ingredient in Superdrol is Methyldrostanolone, which is a modified version of Drostanolone, featuring an additional methyl group at the 17th carbon and another at the 2nd carbon. These modifications significantly boost the anabolic properties of the substance, resulting in an anabolic rating of 400.
